The Bassmaster Classic!!!

We are proud to announce that The Fishers of Men Stren Team Series has been selected by BASS as a Charter member of the new BASS Team Championship Program. This brand new program will pit the top teams from several Trails across the country against each other in a brand new Tournament called the Bassmasters Team Championship. The top 3 teams will move on to a final round where these 6 anglers will fish solo with the eventual winner qualifying to fish in the Granddaddy of them all, The Bassmasters Classsic for a shot at the $300,000 first prize.

To be eligible to compete for this Bassmasters Classic berth you and your partner will each need to select the optional $10 BASS Team Championship membership when you pay your $40 FOM membership for a total of $50 each. You must do this before you compete for the first time this season. With your BASS Team membership you will receive 10 issues of BASS Times as well as the opportunity to compete for a slot in the BASS Team Championship event.

Fishers of Men’s representatives in the inaugural Bassmasters Team Championship will come from The Fishers of Men National Championship (details coming). To be eligible to compete for one of these coveted slots a team must pay the BASS Team Membership in the season in which they qualify for our National Championship.

Al Odom National Director of Fishers of men stated “This is a no-brainer and a win-win situation for our anglers, for $10 they get 10 issues of BASS Times and the opportunity to compete for a berth in the Classic. I can’t imagine anyone who won’t want to take advantage of this unique opportunity. We hope to be the first Trail to have their angler introduced at the Classic with “Qualifying from the Fishers of Men Trail”
